Do you want to turn your home office into a walking workstation that allows you walk at an uphill slant? The GoPlus under desk treadmill has a slight incline that you can adjust using the built-in leveling feet.
Keep in mind that the upward tilt is minimal, maybe 5 degrees at most. In fact, I don’t think that this machine is designed as an actual “incline treadmill”.
However, you can use the leveling feet to increase the angle enough to potentially increase your calorie burn without interrupting your work.
You don’t usually see an incline function with under desk treadmills. In fact, I’ve only seen this feature with manual walking treadmills or running treadmills. Both of which have upright arms that typically interfere with standing desks.
Note: Besides raising the incline, the foot levelers keep the walking surface stable on an uneven floor. In addition, they help reduce vibration and minimize noise created when you walk.
Track Your Exercise While You Work:
The treadmill has an LED display that shows your time, distance, walking speed and calories burned. Therefore, you can track how far you’ve walked or how much energy you’ve burned over the course of the day.
You also get a handheld remote that enables you to control the time and speed from the palm of your hand. Conveniently keep it on your desk while you work if you ever need to pause the treadmill belt.
Speaking of desks, check out this adjustable sit-stand desk that is on sale now for under $300. It also has a conveniently compact size, easy electric lift, comfortable keyboard tray and lockable wheels.
This ultra-versatile workstation set-up enables you to move your “office” from one location to another. Plus, you can sit in a chair, stand or walk, depending on how you feel.
The sleek, modern design will make any home office look more professional. Plus, the under-desk hooks add extra out-of-the-way storage to help you stay organized. I LOVE this desk!
This Under Desk Treadmill is Easy to Store & Saves Space:
Note: You don’t need a standing desk to take advantage of this walking treadmill.
If you live in a small apartment and don’t have a spare bedroom or home gym, the GoPlus treadmill provides a convenient space-efficient fitness solution. Plus, you don’t need to leave your home to exercise.
Because this treadmill lays flat and only measures 6″ tall, you can store it under a bed or sofa. In addition, the unit has 2 small wheels in the front, so you can tilt and roll the treadmill without having to lift and carry it.
As a result, it’s quick and easy to store out of the way and out of sight. You can even roll it into a closet and lean it upright against a wall.
Is This Inexpensive Walking Treadmill Worth it?
At under $500, the GoPlus treadmill is budget friendly and affordable when compared to other standing desk treadmills. For people who plan on using it daily as a “desk exerciser”, you can definitely get your money’s worth.
That said, here are a few things to consider. First of all, the maximum belt speed is only 4 miles per hour. Therefore, this machine will not work for running. The Urevo Foldable treadmill is better for walking and running, as it goes up to 7.6 mph.
Second, cheaper treadmills tend to make more noise. In other words, if you need a quieter machine while you work, consider an upgraded device like the Unsit treadmill desk.
