NordicTrack has long been known for their cross country ski trainers and treadmills. It’s no surprise that they’ve jumped into the treadmill desk arena as well.

For just under $1000, you can get both a walking treadmill AND an adjustable sit-stand desk. Not only that, but you can lift and store the treadmill out of the way so that the machine takes up minimal space. Talk about efficient.
But the features don’t stop there.
NordicTrack really packed a lot of great things into this device, and they didn’t skimp on quality. It really had me wondering why they priced it so low. I mean, it has everything I like in a treadmill desk.
1. The NordicTrack Provides Lots-o-Space
For one, it has a spacious desk surface. I personally like to work on a large open desk so I can spread out lots of different materials for a project if I want to without feeling cluttered. A big desk lets me do that.
2. The Treadmill is Quiet
Secondly, the treadmill belt is quiet. Is is specially designed for less friction, which cuts down on noise as well as helps the motor run better.
In the long run, this also translates to less maintenance and cost. That’s right, less noise is not just about being less annoying. =)
3. You Can Do Different Activities on this Treadmill Desk
Third, this treadmill is cushioned for comfortable walking while working, but it also allows users to get an intense workout as well. Unlike most other walking treadmills, the NordicTrack treadmill can incline up to 10% and has a speed range of up to 6 mph.
It’s more versatile, which in my opinion is a better value for the person who appreciates and will take advantage of all of these features. Get a morning jog in and then a full day of productive office time – all on one machine and in minimal space.
4. The NordicTrack Treadmill Desk High-Tech
Forth, if you like electronic gadgets and automation, then you’ll appreciate this desk. The desktop has it’s own personal console and you can control the desk height with the push of a button.
It is also iFit compatible, which means that you can easily track miles walked, calories burned, workouts and more – all from your desk. The iFit module is required (sold separately) but you can try the program out free for one year when you get the module.
5. This Equipment is High Quality, Seriously.
Fifth, as I mentioned before, NordicTrack has been making fitness equipment for a long time. They don’t skimp on quality, which is why I think this treadmill desk is bargain-priced.
The machine is built around a strong welded steel frame, and the desktop is very sturdy. The motor is also commercial grade, so you can plan on getting a lot out of use out of it.
